Joss Lenhardt
Founder/CEO
JOSS (JOCELYN) is a Filipina American writer-director, casting director, dialect coach, and producer of Parcel Films, based in Los Angeles. Trained at CSU Long Beach's School of the Arts and USC's School of Cinematic Arts (MFA, Film and Television Production), she directs from the fault line between two worlds — neither of which lets go.
Her directorial debut, Mother & Child, follows a Filipina nurse (Amielynn Abellera, The Pitt) and her young son through the existential reckoning of a single night — the night the man who abandoned them announces his return. An official selection of CAAMFest San Francisco and FACINE, the film won Best Short at the Chicago Filipino American Film Festival and was highlighted in The Huff Post. She is the recipient of Visual Communications’ Armed-with-a-Camera Fellowship and the USC Rock Hudson Memorial Scholarship.
As a writer, her queer Filipina coming-of-age feature scripts — explorations of identity, belonging, and decolonization — both advanced to the second round of the Sundance Screenwriters Lab.
Born in Torrance, CA to a Pampangueño family, she learned Kapampangan before she learned English. In Where We Go From Here, that language — passed to fewer children with every generation — gets the last word.
Ryan Lenhardt
Co-Founder/COO
RYAN is a producer, editor, production designer and co-founder of Parcel Films, holding a BFA in Film, Theater and Television from UCLA.
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Ryan brings a wide-open sensibility to his work — grounded, down-to-earth, attuned to place and people. That sensibility complements Joss’ minimalist, restraint-driven character studies, lending texture and warmth to stories about identity and one's place in the world.
He produced the award-winning Mother & Child and produces across the company's slate, including the feature How Sad Girls Fall In Love, currently in development, and the upcoming Where We Go From Here.
As a director, he is known for A Matter of Diplomacy, a wry sci-fi satire about a female android reclaiming herself and the smitten French diplomat she serves — made for the 48-Hour Film Project and screened at Cannes' Short Film Corner. His UCLA thesis, A Beautiful Society, features Mardy Ma.
SETH is a Filipino American actor based between Los Angeles and New York City, represented by Authentic Management. On camera, he has appeared in Fox's 9-1-1: Lone Star, Netflix's Roommates, and Apple TV's Off Weeks opposite Ben Stiller. A voice actor trained closely under Charlie Adler, he has led casts in Netflix's The Boyfriend, Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!, and Disney's Sand Land. He brings an audience of more than 23,000 followers across social media.
Where We Go From Here began in deep conversation — a long correspondence with Joss over phone calls, emails, and late-night texts before a single page existed. He joins the ensemble cast and narrates the film - the voice that carries the story.
